The mission of the First Baptist Church of Malabar’s Aware blog is to incorporate new interactive communication technology to fulfill our purpose of building people to Christ-like maturity and equipping them for ministry. Aware will do so by allowing the church and community to seek answers to the tough questions they face day-to-day in an open, anonymous, loving, knowledgeable, up-lifting, and Christian on-line atmosphere, from peers and elders alike, in the church who may have experienced, or are experiencing, the same life situations.
Our pledge is to provide a positive and encouraging place for members of our church and community to freely express the issues close to their hearts without the fear of harsh judgments of others or uncaring responses from paid professionals. We pledge to be Aware of the many challenges of life faced by bloggers, and we will work to ensure that each blogger is allowed to express themselves thoroughly but intellectually and morally. Our blog managers seek to be servant-like in the administration of free expression remembering that Christ came not to judge but to save and serve.
